Edith Marie Jolly Robinson, 90, of Hot Springs, Virginia died Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the Springs Nursing Center.
She was born May 20, 1925 in Bath County, the daughter of the late Harry H. Jolly and Edith Bratton Jolly.
Marie was a self-employed housekeeper.
She was a member of Warm Springs Presbyterian Church.
Marie is survived by her step children: Jerry Robinson of Waynesboro, Bobby Robinson of Waynesboro, Wayne Robinson of Nashville, Tennessee; brother; Frank Jolly of Craigsville; sisters; Ruth Woolgar of St. Paul, Minnesota, Betty Manning of Statesville, NC, Martha Jolly of Hopkinsville, KY; two special friends and caregivers: Susan Fike and Susan Plecker; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Robinson; five brothers, Robert Jolly, Charles Jolly, Ralph Jolly, Harry Jolly Jr., and Donald Jolly; two sisters, Mary Webb and Virginia Gallahan.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Thursday June 18, 2015 at Warm Springs Presbyterian Church with Reverend Charles Reed officiating. Interment will be in Bratton Cemetery, in Millboro, VA.
Pallbearers will be Richard Chestnut, Scott Robertson, Craig Robertson, Don Fike, Bill Bratton, and Barrie Wolf.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
