Frank Roland Millican, Sr., 76, of 8422 Big Valley Road, Warm Springs, Virginia, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the Bath Community Hospital in Hot Springs, Virginia.
He was born July 7, 1939 in Richmond, Virginia, the son of the late Nancy Walker Silver.
He was married to Patti Lynn Swartz Millican. He was a self-employed excavator and contractor. Mr. Millican was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and raising hound dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Patti Millican of Warm Springs; five children, Frank Roland Millican, Jr. of Manakin-Sabot, Virginia, Cynthia Craigie Millican of Richmond, Virginia, Robert Timothy Millican of Glen Allen, Virginia, Maya Millican Faison of Richmond and Marti Patricia Millican of Virginia; two brothers, Peter and Robert Millican both of Richmond; two sisters, Frances Gibson Bliley of Mechanicsville, Virginia, Eileen Silver Dunford of Richmond; and four grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon, Jessica and Michael.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Pender Millican.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
