Susan Jane Turner LaFountain, 73, of Hot Springs, Virginia died Tuesday, January 02, 2018 at her residence.
She was born April 25, 1944 in Malone, New York, the daughter of the late John Leroy Turner and Blanche McKenzie Turner.
She was employed as a certified dietary manager for Bath County Hospital for 14 years.
Susan loved antique sales, auctions & crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur James LaFountain whom she married on July 30, 1966 of Hot Springs; 2 children, Julie LaFountain & friend Geoff Emery of Blue Ridge, Virginia, Joann Medina & husband Miguel of Chesterfield, Virginia; 2 grandchildren, Samuel Ryder and Gabriel Medina of Chesterfield, Virginia; 4 sisters, Janet Matthews & husband George, Marian Haig, Sally Safford, Linda Abare & husband Steven all of Malone, New York; several nieces & nephews; and a loving extended family.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Turner.
A memorial service will in the spring time to celebrate her life.
