Sarah Sutton, 50, of Hot Springs, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in a tragic accident outside her home. She was born to Patricia Kay and Rees Wood on October 24, 1970. Sarah was a single mother of two daughters, Victoria Sutton 15, and Hannah Sutton 13 and she was the Director of Associate Services at The Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia.

At the resort, Sarah was known for her unwavering enthusiasm and vibrant personality. She cared deeply for her Homestead family and worked tirelessly to help those affected by COVID-19.  Sarah enjoyed spending time outdoors, hiking with her daughters and their beloved family pets, Daisy, Poppy and Leia. They went on many camping adventures and loved exploring the country. 

In addition to her daughters, Sarah is survived by her mother Patricia Kay of Isle of Wite, England; her brother Shane Wood and wife Fiona of Isle of Wite; her father Rees Wood and stepmother Carol of Harrogate, England; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and a host of friends and coworkers from around the world.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Omni Homestead Resort Dining Room and a Zoom option will be made available for those who would like to attend but are unable to travel.
