Reggie Durwin Lemon, 57, of 13737 Flora Place, Delray Beach, Florida died Sunday, November 04, 2012 at the Delray Medical Center.
He was born February 1, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Mayrene Harris Lemon of Hot Springs, Virginia and the late Odis Frazier Lemon.
He was married to his wife of 25 years, Marlyn Lemon, whom he married on June 27, 1987. He was employed as a manager of an insurance claim investigation office.
Mr. Lemon was a 1977 graduate of The University of Virginia with a degree in Arts & Sciences. He attended George Washington University Law School. He enjoyed playing golf, was an avid horse player and loved going to the beach at the ocean. He was a loving husband and a friend to all that new him.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by four brothers and sisters, Barbara Wilson of Roanoke, Virginia, Odis Frazier Lemon, Jr. & wife Sharon of Rockville, Maryland, Sharon Wright & husband James of Upper Marlboro, Maryland and Kevin Lemon & wife Anne of Germantown, Maryland; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012 at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home with Reverend W. Ed Mansfield officiating. Interment will be in at a later date in Green Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Sad to lose an AHS classmate.
