Donna Marie Buchanan Fitzgerald, 53, of Craigsville, Virginia died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at her residence.
She was born on November 14, 1959 in Augusta County, Virginia, to the late Marvin B. Buchanan and Louise Buchanan. She was married to her husband of 36 years, Oral G. Fitzgerald. She was a homemaker and a member of Craigsville Church of God of Prophecy. Donna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Oral Fitzgerald of Craigsville; her mother, Louise Buchanan of Staunton, Virginia; three daughters, Tammy Campbell & husband Billy of Augusta Springs, Virginia, Tina Riley & husband Charles, and Candy Sprouse, all of Craigsville; two sisters, Wanda Buchanan of Staunton and Carol Puffenbarger of Craigsville; a brother, Butch Buchanan & wife Brenda of Craigsville; and two grandchildren, Jordan Fitzgerald and Jasmine Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Buchanan; and a brother, Bobby Buchanan.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Craigsville Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Adkins officiating. Interment will follow at Estaline Valley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Craigsville Funeral Home.
