Ettie Mildred Jones Wolfe, 72, of Hot Springs, Virginia passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia.

She was born April 24, 1952, in Hot Springs, Virginia, the daughter of the late Alpha Louise Jones Wilson.

Ettie retired from the Housekeeping Department at the Homestead Resort.

Many years ago, she attended Eden Church. She enjoyed the mountains, spending time with her family and playing games on her computer. She loved horses and going fishing. She loved spending time with her Mountain Crest Family where she resided.

Ettie was married to the late Ernest Melvin Wolfe who preceded her in death in 2005.

She is survived by two children, Elizabeth M. Talucci and Aaron Lee Wolfe both of Hot Springs, Virginia;  a sister, Joyce Louise Jones of Hot Springs, Virginia; an uncle who helped raise her, Lee Roy Jones of Hot Springs; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Minnie Jones & infant April Dawn.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Gram officiating. Interment will be in Warm Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Jones, Mark Hepler, Adrian Braxton & others attending the service.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home .
