Grey Lee Hicks, 74, of Warm Springs, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Bath Community Hospital in Hot Springs, Virginia.
He was born December 17, 1944 in Bath County, the son of the late Willard Lee Hicks and Helen Gray Cleek Hicks.
Mr. Hicks was employed as a tractor trailer driver & equipment operator for Hammond Mitchell. He was a member of the Warm Springs Presbyterian Church; an avid NASCAR fan of #43; and loved blue grass and gospel music.
He is survived by two children, Tammy Lee Hicks of Hot Springs, Virginia, Tina Lynn Johnson & husband Bill of Linville, Virginia; three grandchildren, Andrew, Ryan and Lydia; a brother, Lynn Hicks of Hot Springs; a sister, Ann Bird & husband Pete of Lancaster, Ohio; special friends, Ginger Williamson of Warm Springs and Stevie Hodge of Warm Springs.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Virginia Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Lorrie Aikens officiating.
