Louis Brown Robertson, 78, of Warm Springs, Virginia died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Bath Community Hospital.

He was born July 17, 1937 in Bath County, the son of the late Henry C. Robertson and Harriett Hoover Robertson.

Louis was retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation after 28 years.

He was a member of Chimney Run Church of the Brethren, and an avid outdoorsman. He loved music, playing his guitar and harmonica, and was a loving husband.

Louis is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Botkin Robertson; 3 brothers: Winfield Robertson, Richard Robertson, and Howard Robertson, all of Hot Springs, Virginia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother John Robertson and infant sister Frances Robertson.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015 at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Robertson officiating. Interment will be in Warm Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Liptrap, Don Ailstock, Johnny Ailstock, Paul Eavers, Albert Ailstock, and Wayne Robertson

The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 10 to 11.
