Patricia Darlene Jones Hise, 71, of Hot Springs, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 03, 2026, at the Virginia Health Center in Arlington, Virginia.

She was born November 13, 1954, in Hot Springs, Virginia, the daughter of the late Fred Wesley Hise and Charlotte Lou Jones Hise.

Patricia worked as a compactor operator for Jacks Trash Service.

She was an amazing mother who instilled a strong work ethic in her children. She was always willing to help others before herself.    Darlene loved working outdoors, raising roses, and gardening. She enjoyed fishing and listening to classic country music.

She was married to the late Clarence Evert Hise.

She is survived by three children, Elzy Lee Hise of Hot Springs, Charles Wesley Hise of Levittown, Pennsylvania, and Ronald Lynn Hise and wife Kristen of Belview, Florida;  seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; four brothers, Ronald Hise, Wesley Hise and wife Tina, and Richard Hise and wife Karen of all of Hot Springs, Michael Hise of Amite, Louisiana; a sister, Brenda Gutting and husband Stewart of Brookneal, Virginia; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Jones, and a brother, Charles Jones.

Interment will be in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
