Samuel E. Miller, 60, of 167 Bells Valley Road, Goshen, Virginia, died Sunday, May 19, 2013 at his residence.
He was born in Bells Valley, Virginia on February 16, 1953 to the late Leroy C. and Hilda Bows Miller. Sam worked at Stillwater Mills and was a timber cutter. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by a brother, James Miller and wife Brenda of Goshen; a sister, Joyce Miller of Goshen; two half brothers, Marvin Jackson and wife Nettie of Goshen and Rev. Harry Jackson of Alexander, West Virginia; several nieces and nephews; and two special pets, Dusty and Wolfie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Miller; two sisters, Wilma Miller and Shirley Miller; a half sister, Dorothy Stuples; a brother-in-law, Bennie Arbogast; and a sister-in-law, Annalee Jackson.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Bells Valley Cemetery with Pastor Claude Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Craigsville Funeral Home.
