Steven Wayne Grose, 54, of Hot Springs, Virginia passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the Bath Community Hospital in Hot Springs, Virginia.
He was born December 5, 1970 in Hot Springs, the son of the late George Harrington Grose and Marie Susan Ryder Grose of Hot Springs.
Steven was employed at the Homestead Resort where he worked in convention set-up. Prior to working at the Homestead, he was a self-employed painter. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed playing Chinese checkers. He was a loving son and brother.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister; Helen “Tittle” Propst & husband Dale of Warm Springs, Virginia; nieces & nephews, Trista Randozzo & husband Joe, Tiffany Ryder & husband Josh and Dalton Propst & wife Hannah all of Warm Springs, and Daren Propst of Hot Springs.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, George Patrick Grose.
A funeral service will be held at a later date.
