Wolfe    Alexandra Mattea “Ali” Wolfe, 16, of Mountain Grove, VA died Wednesday, August 13, 2014 surrounded by her family and friends at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.

She was born August 22, 1997 in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Ali was a rising Senior at Bath County High School. She was a Captain of the Varsity Cheerleading Squad, a member of the BCHS Band Drumline where she served as a section leader; a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes where she was a huddle leader; and a member of the FBLA club. She played soccer as a defender and in her freshman year she played tennis. She also enjoyed dancing with the Chatelaines.

Ali was a kind & loving daughter. She was the sparkle in her mommy’s eyes. She knew no stranger, she accepted everyone as her friend. Her smile could brighten anyone’s bad day. She will always be remembered for her charming personality and free spirit.

She is survived by her Mommy & Daddy, Jerry & April Wolfe of Mountain Grove; her father, Frank Pritt III of Bacova, Virginia; a brother, F.M. Pritt of Goshen, Virginia; five sisters, Natasha Dixon & husband Seth of Roanoke, Virginia, Christina Wolfe of Hampton, Virginia, Brittany Pritt of Greenville, Virginia, Kayla Pritt of Bacova and Angel Grace Pritt of Bacova; a nephew, Wyatt Edwin Dixon of Roanoke; maternal grandparents, Artie Barnes of Mountain Grove and Sharron Barnes of Exmore, Virginia; paternal grandfather, Elmer Wolfe of Hot Springs; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and an abundant amount of friends whose lives that she touched.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Annie Wolfe.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 16 at Life Line Ministries. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Frank Neff officiating. Interment will be in Mountain Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Austin Burns, Noah Burns, Jacob Hyler, Lucas Hodge, Ethan Wrights, Saul Pasco, Gabe Wells and Daniel Hevener. Immediately following the service, everyone is invited to attend a time of celebration with the family at the Mountain Grove Community Center.

  1. My heartfelt condolences to the family and many friends of Ali and prayers for comfort in your time of sorrow. May you find peace and joy in just knowing the wonderful, friendly and happy person that brought so much love and joy to everyone she knew and met. She will be missed by so many.
