Ann Lillian Whiteside Fry, 84, of 5348 Sam Snead Highway, Hot Springs, Virginia, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the Springs Nursing Center in Hot Springs. She was born November 26, 1926 in Hot Springs, Virginia the daughter of the late Henry M. Whiteside and Margaret Watkins Whiteside.

She was married to the late Harold Lee Fry, Sr. who preceded her in death on March 9, 2007.

Mrs. Fry was a housewife. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Hot Springs Presbyterian Church; where she served as the choir director and organist for 21 years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society in Covington.

She is survived by four children, Lee Fry, Beth Neff & husband Frankie, Kevin Fry & wife Cindy and Todd Fry & wife Lisa all of Hot Springs; two brothers, Jessie Whiteside of Prattville, Alabama and Melvin Whiteside of Covington, Virginia; a sister, Becky Whiteside Cox of Alleghany County, Virginia; 7 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by: a sister, Mary Frances Martin and a brother, Tommy Whiteside.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at the Hot Springs Presbyterian Church with Reverend Glen Coleman officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hot Springs Presbyterian Church.
