Anna was born in Huntington, West Virginia. After graduating from Winthrop College in Rock Hill, South Carolina, she enjoyed working and traveling, living in New Jersey, Vermont, and Virginia before finding a true home in the Southwest, which she loved.

Anna is survived by her niece Jennifer Lynn Thompson and husband Brandon of Missouri and nephews Austin and Ryan Day as well as many friends.

Cremation has taken place and a private burial will follow in the Warm Spring Cemetery, Warm Springs, VA.

“Have to leave now. I need to be with my family”.

  1. Anna Moore was my second cousin. I had not seen her for several years, but we exchanged birthday and Christmas cards. When her birthday card was returned with “addressee unknown” and her phone number was no longer hers, I became alarmed. I am so sorry she died. I do hope she is with her family.

  3. Our Christmas letter was returned and I am so shocked. Anna and I were good friends when Jim and I lived in Albuquerque. Anna and I worked together at Honeywell. We always kept in touch at Christmas and infrequently in between. Such a loss.

  4. Anna graduated with me from Summerville High School, Summerville, SC, in May, 1966. I dated her only once, I think, but tried again several times, but could never get her to go out with me. We went to see a James Bond movie with Sean Connery, “FromI Russia with Love.” I’ve always had a special place in my heart for Anna, and often wondered what became of her. Her father drove, I think, a 19 53 MG TD, and was in the Air Force stationed at Charleston Air Force Base, Charleston, SC. I lost touch with Anna after High School graduation.
