Annie Catherine Robertson Wolfe, 79, of 105 Roseloe Lane, Hot Springs, Virginia died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at her residence.
She was born December 30, 1932 in Warm Springs, Virginia, the daughter of the late Reverend George R. Robertson and Carrie Catherine Green Robertson. She was married to Elmer L. Wolfe of Hot Springs, her husband of 56 years whom she married on September 18, 1956. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Chimney Run Church of the Brethren where she served as the church treasurer for over 20 years and was a member of the Lady’s Circle.
In addition to her husband, Elmer she is survived by 6 children, Crystal L. Wolfe, Jerry M. Wolfe, Mark C. Wolfe, Carrie W. Chestnut, Karen W. Norman and Sandra W. Williams; 13 grandchildren, Kimberly Wolfe, Kelly Wolfe, Natasha Dixon, Christina Wolfe, Alexandra Wolfe, Selena Wolfe, Hope Bennett, Emily Bennett, Catherine Voegelin, Deric Norman, Hunter Norman, Carson Norman and Allison Williams; 5 great grand children, Casey Plogger, Michael Keyes, Shiann Chaplin, Wyatt Dixon and Anabelle Voegelin; 4 brothers, Calvin Robertson, Sr., Ervin Robertson, Ira Robertson and Leroy Robertson; and 3 sisters, Virginia Kline, Montague D’Ottavio and Mary Belle Ailstock.
She was preceded in death by a son, Allan L. Wolfe; and a brother, Paul Robertson.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Chimney Run Church of the Brethren with Pastor Billy Robertson officiating. Interment will be in Warm Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Robertson, Calvin Robertson, Jr. Tommy Robertson, Johnny Ailstock, Don Ailstock and Albert Ailstock
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the church.
