Constance “Connie” P. Duquette, 60, of 301 Mill Creek Crossing, Millboro, Virginia, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011 at her residence.
She was born September 13, 1951 in Charlotte, North Carolina, the daughter of the late John W. and Barbara J. Schock Pearson.
Mrs. Duquette retired from Trans-World and American Airlines as a flight attendant. In 1973, she graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She was an active member of the Millboro Ruritan Club and the Millboro Area Rescue Squad. She was a loving wife, step-mother, and sister who enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas “Tom” Duquette, whom she married on September 1, 1978; her beloved animals, Starr, Lily, Cory, Bo, Ferris B., Moxie and Luna; a step-daughter, Elizabeth Duquette and husband Michael Breen of Portland, Oregon; a step-son, John T. Duquette and fiancée Merinda Morley of Ashburn, Virginia; a brother, William Pearson and wife Caroline of New Milford, Connecticut; two sisters, Patricia Stock and husband Paul of Mirpurkhas, Pakistan and Barbara Pearson of Danbury, Connecticut; six nieces and nephews, Christopher & Sean Pearson, Elisha, Ashley, Joel & Jodie Stock.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jonathon Cory Pearson.
A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 30, 2011 at the Millboro Presbyterian Church, in Millboro, with Rev. John Haney officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the services in the church social hall. Interment will be private at the Duquette family cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by McLaughlin and Young Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Virginia.
