20161122_155818Diana Lynn Hevener Green, 51, of Burnsville, Virginia died Wednesday, May 03, 2017 at Bath Community Hospital, Hot Springs, Virginia.

She was born April 7, 1966 at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Quantico, Virginia, the daughter of Dempsie Lee Hevener and the late Joyce Ann Kearns Hevener.

Mrs. Green was a 1989 Graduate of Radford University with a degree in Community Health Services and a 2016 graduate from Dabney College with a degree as a Physician’s Assistant. She was a member of the Burnsville United Methodist Church where she served as the treasurer. She enjoyed dancing, going to the beach & her pets.

She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Andrew Green whom she married on June 3, 2006, her father, Dempsie Lee Hevener of Burnsville; a son, Justin Alexander Hughes & girlfriend Danielle Okes of Christiansburg, Virginia; a daughter, Corrie Ann Green of Covington, Virginia; a grandson, Tanner Creamer of Covington; two sisters, Debbie Hops Hevener Small of Hot Springs, Virginia and Doreen Cook of Shelby, North Carolina; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Freddie & Inge Green of Radcliff, Kentucky; two sisters-in-law, Marjorie Webb Hevener of Burnsville, Marina Froehlich & husband Manfred of Manheim, Germany; two brothers-in-law, Freddie Green of Covington and James Green & wife Lauren Heath Green of Hampton, Virginia; and numerous aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Hevener on December 19, 2011 and her brother, David Hevener on May 20, 2011.

A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
