Dustin Micheal Albanese, 18, of Bacova, Virginia died Saturday, December 27, 2014 in Hot Springs, Virginia.

He was born June 19, 1996 in Odessa, Texas. He was employed with Omni Homestead Resort in the Dining Room.

Dustin was a 2014 Graduate of Bath County High School. He was an avid video gamer; loved the outdoors; and enjoyed playing the guitar and doing woodworking. He loved hiking in the mountains.

He is survived by his mother and father, Shannon Renee Albanese and Michael Stinnett of Bacova; two brothers, Nathaniel Lief Duarte of Bacova and Lige Lowell Connolly of Hobbs, New Mexico; grandparents, Becky Retherford & husband Terry of Odessa, Texas and Janet Stinnet of Hot Springs, Virginia; an Aunt & Uncle, Rachel & Joshua Albanese of Washington; and an aunt, Brittney Nolan of Orange, Texas.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 2, 2015 at Union Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Lorrie Aikens officiating. Interment will be in Union Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to services, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home.
