Emma Lois Cauley Law Baldwin, 74, of 4692 Sam Snead Highway, Hot Springs, Virginia, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011 at the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, Virginia.

She was born September 29, 1936 in Bath County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Clarence Cameron Cauley and Mabel Williams Cauley.

She was married to her husband of 14 years whom she married February 21, 1997, Richard Wayne Baldwin. She was retired from the Homestead Resort. She worked as a nurses aid in Massillon, Ohio.

Mrs. Baldwin was a member of member of Life Line Ministries. Prior to that, she attended the Hot Springs Presbyterian Church. She loved camping, fishing, sewing and crafts. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Richard W. Baldwin of Hot Springs; two daughters, Carol L. Moore & fiancé John Justice III of Navarre, Ohio and Sharon A. Craddock & fiancé Robert Moore of Canal Fulton, Ohio; a brother, Roy Kenneth Cauley of Hot Springs; three sisters, Edna Rexrode of Staunton, Virginia, Wilma Wriston & husband Lacy of Hot Springs and Barbara Stover & husband John “J.D.” of Roanoke, Virginia; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; numerous sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Curtis L. Law; a daughter, Deborah Holmes; and a brother, Charles Cauley.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Life Line Ministries with Reverend Lennie Stinnett officiating. Interment will be in the Warm Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Justice III, Robert Moore, Hugh Buck Shifflett, Larry E. Holmes, Kurt M. Holmes and Dave W. Holmes. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home.
