Evanell F. Pritt, 77, of 2141 Tunnel Hill Road, Millboro, Virginia, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Woodlands Health & Rehab in Clifton Forge, Virginia.
She was born January 31, 1935 in Delbarton, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Elmer Farmer and Dora Canterbury Farmer Baumann.
She was married to Bert Pritt of Millboro, her husband of 58 years, whom she married on June 21, 1954. She was an inspector for General Motors. She was a member of Living Stones Ministries. Mrs. Pritt loved her church work as a greeter and hospitality hostess. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Dan Pritt & wife Cindy of Findlay, Ohio and David Pritt & wife Kathy of Millboro; seven grandchildren, Sara Hupp, Ryan Hupp & wife Ashley, Denise Pritt, Greg Pritt & wife Jessica, Jennifer Ramsey & husband Bill, Alex Pritt & Hannah Pritt; three great grandchildren, Kayla & Lucas Ramsey and Amelia Hupp; and several cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Almore Baumann; two daughter, Tammy Pritt and Amy Dennis; and a son-in-law Louie Dennis.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Living Stones Ministries with Pastor Mike Rollins officiating. Interment will be in Windy Cove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dan Pritt, Dave Pritt, Greg Pritt, Ryan Hupp, Bill Ramsey and Alex Pritt.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Millboro Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Living Stones Ministries.
