Frances G. Strickler, 70, of Craigsville, Virginia died Monday evening, August 6, 2012 at her residence.
She was born January 4, 1942 in Rockbridge County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Earl & Edith Sensabaugh Campbell. She was a homemaker and was a member of Estaline Valley Church of the Nazarene in Craigsville.
She is survived by two sons, Russell Strickler, Jr. & wife Karen of Goshen, Virginia and Michael Strickler & wife Denise of Millboro, Virginia; three brothers, Junior Campbell of Craigsville, Pete Campbell & wife Darlene of Craigsville and Alan Campbell & wife Tammy of Goshen; six sisters, Betty Campbell of Goshen, Dora Jean Sprouse & husband Bernard of Goshen, Mary Jackson of Craigsville, Delores Campbell of Goshen, Shirley Knight & husband Danny of Goshen and Linda Root of Goshen; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Campbell and Kenneth Campbell.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the Little River Church of the Brethren Cemetery with Pastor Bill Curry officiating.
