Gisela H. Wiseman
Gisela H. Wiseman, 78, of 5512 Sam Snead Highway, Hot Springs, Virginia, died Monday, February 6, 2012 at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born in Wuppertal, Germany, the daughter of the late Tatjana Fogel Husman and stepfather Karl Husman.
Mrs. Wiseman was a housewife, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Ashwood United Methodist Church, the Disabled Veterans Affairs, and the American Cancer Society. She enjoyed traveling. She loved animals and always donated to the care and love of all animals.
She is survived by her husband, whom she married on November 17, 1972, Tony T. Wiseman of Hot Springs; a daughter, Dagmar Saar of England; a daughter-in-law, Ann Rodiegar of Germany; a step daughter, Charlotte Ann Wiseman of Phoenix, Arizona; 4 grandchildren, Jan Helge Neumeister, Jan Hendrik Neumeister, Rena Lynn Trickel, Dana Trickel; and 7 great grandchildren, George Neumeister, Isaac Altizer, Jack Bergman, Emma Bergman, Sydnay Trickel, Justin Trickel and Breanna Trickel; special friends, Beverly Adkins of Hot Springs, Ashley Gwin of Covington, Virginia, Paul & Ella Bennett of Fishersville, Virginia, Judy Maliwauki, Grace Rivenbark, Joanne Windham and Elva Carpenter all of Hot Springs.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jens Rodiegar.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 10, 2012 at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home with Reverend Lynn Wright officiating. Interment will be in Warm Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be the Mens Club of the Ashwood Church and Jimmy Adkins.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at McLaughlin and Young Funeral Home.
