James Alexander Robish, 77, of Hot Springs, Virginia, passed away May 18, 2019 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.

He was born August 17, 1941 in Newark, New Jersey, the son of the late Alexander Robish and Catherine Bennett Robish.

Mr. Robish was retired from Merk Chemical Corporation where he worked in the Mechanical Department. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp having served in Vietnam and was a recipient of the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by 5 brothers, John, Joe, Jim, Paul and Mike; and 3 sisters, Rita, Barbara and Catherine.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Quantico National Cemetery. Full military honors will be provided by the United States Marine Corp.
