James Doak Brunson, 60, of Roanoke, Virginia passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.
He was born August 18, 1958 in Greenville, Mississippi, the son of Phyllis June Doak Brunson and the late Lawrence Joslyn Brunson.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his mother, Phyllis June Doak Brunson of Roanoke; a brother, Patrick Brunson & wife Amanda of Louisa, Virginia; and a sister; Amanda Crawford of Roanoke, Virginia.
A private family funeral service will be conducted at a later date.
