James “Jimmy” Francis Geake, 70, of Millboro, Virginia passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at his residence.
He was born April 8, 1949 in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Alvin James Geake and Eva Koucher Geake.
He retired from the Auto Truck Transport as a terminal manager.
He was a veteran of the United States Army Airborne having served in Vietnam. He is the recipient of the Bronze Star.
On July 27, 1996 he married Dolores “Lori” Marie Mack Geake.
Jimmy loved working on the farm, hunting and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #311 where he served as the Past Master.
In addition to his wife Lori, he is survived by a step-son Jeremy Ritter & fiancé Lindsay of Forty Fort, Pennsylvania; three brothers, Jeff Geake of Nazareth, Pennsylvania, Jerry Geake & special friend Reya of Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania and Joe Geake & wife Rose of Quakertown, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John Geake.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I only met Jimmy a couple of times, but I know he was a good man and husband. He made one of my lifetime friends, his wife Lori, very happy. RIP Jimmy; you had a life well-lived.
I’m very sorry to hear of the passing of Jim. I always enjoyed the conversation we had we had lost contact when I left the company we work for however he never left my memories. Extending my condolences to all his family he will be missed.
