Janet McLain Roberts

Janet McLain Roberts, 75, of 6730 Dry Run Road, Williamsville, Virginia died Wednesday, February 06, 2013 at her residence.
She was born August 26, 1937 in Staunton, Virginia, the daughter of the late Sylvester McLain and Beulah Rowe McLain.
Mrs. Roberts was a housewife and previously attended Burnsville United Methodist Church. She loved to hunt and fish; and enjoyed crocheting and ceramics. She was a loving mother and friend to all.
She was married to the late Claborn Roberts, Sr. who preceded her in death on September 23, 2005.
She is survived by four sons, Claborn Roberts, Jr. of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, Ralph Todd “RT” Roberts of Burnsville, Kenny Roberts of Burnsville and Darrell Roberts of Staunton, Virginia; and three grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Audrey Ernestine Roberts and a son Terry Dean Roberts.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Burnsville United Methodist Church with Pastor Donald Lee Altizer & Pastor Lori Aikens officiating. Interment will be in Burnsville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charlie Hess, Al Martin, Doug Durrett, Alan Price, Louise Mohenzie, John Wayne Huppman, Bud Tinsley and Chris Byers.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.
