Lawrence “Ab” Edward Kennedy, Sr., 62, of Clifton Forge, Virginia passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025, at The Springs Nursing Center in Hot Springs, Virginia.
He was born September 2, 1963, in Lexington, Virginia, the son of the late Jimmy Kennedy and Margaret Elizabeth Stiller.
Lawrence was employed as an electrician and general contractor.
He loved fishing, cooking, and having a good time with friends.
He is survived by a son, Lawrence E. Kennedy, Jr, of Lumberton, North Carolina; and a brother, Kenneth B. Kennedy of Lexington, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.
A graveside service will be held, 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 29, 2025, at Pine Hurst Cemetery in Hot Springs with Mr. John Young officiating.
