Margaret Ann Orchard-Hays Ferguson, 54, of Hot Springs, Virginia died Friday, February 8, 2019 at her home in Hot Springs, Virginia.

She was born January 20, 1965 in Arlington, Virginia, the daughter of the late William Orchard-Hays and the late Nancy Helen Dillenbeck Orchard-Hays.

Meg graduated from Hyde School in Bath, Maine and attended both Northern Virginia Community College and George Mason University.

She was a housewife and prayer warrior for most of her adult life.

Meg was a member of Faith Covenant Family Church, as well as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Keith Ferguson of Hot Springs; her children, Justin Lee Ferguson of Colby, Kansas, Amanda Jane Ferguson of Brooklyn, New York, Melissa Roseann Ferguson of Millboro, Virginia, Rebecca Lynn Ferguson of Hot Springs, Christopher “CJ” James Ferguson of Hot Springs; her grandchildren, Levana Aaron Chambers, Brielle Catriona Ferguson, Zachariah Henry Ferguson; her brother, James Edward Orchard-Hays of Charlottesville; her half-brothers Ron Childers, William Orchard-Hays III, Philip Orchard-Hays, Paul Orchard-Hays, and Daniel Orchard-Hays; her half-sisters Karen Winford, Kristina Orchard-Hays, and Veronika Archer; her step mother Milena Orchard-Hays; and her uncle, James Waldo Dillenbeck.

Meg was preceded in death by a grandson, Trevor Alexander Matheney.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019 at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Shaver officiating.  A reception will be held at the Old Dairy Barn in Warm Springs following the service.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home.
