She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William Henry “Bootsie” Berry IV, daughter-in-law, Connie Mines Berry, as well as several brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Living Stones Ministries, 100 Griffith Lane, Clifton Forge, VA 24422, with Pastor Mike Rollins officiating.

  1. Martha Chaplin was one of the finest people I ever knew. She was a tireless worker at the Red Cross here in Hot Springs; she could be counted on no matter what! Ever Blood-Drive I worked, she was always with the quick story and laugh.
Martha loved her family and would and DID walked an extra mile for their benefit; she was a great cook and made the best cakes I ever tasted. God speed, sister.

  2. Dear Families of Martha and (Bootsie) – We are all saddened by this loss. Martha was a kind person and, with Connie Berry, was always helping with my boys when they were small….I will miss her, but she is with her one and only now. Love & Miss ya….Patti Riner
