May Frances Lindsay, 79, of Millboro, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Wellman House, in Millboro, Virginia.

She was born February 25, 1945, in Hot Springs, Virginia, the daughter of the late Joseph Thomas Lindsay and Pauline Mae Lindsay.

She was a member of Starr Chapel Church. She loved wearing aprons and loved taking care of her baby dolls. All those at the Wellman House, residents and staff, were her adopted family.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Thomas Lindsay; mother, Pauline Mae Lindsay; brother, Joseph Samuel Lindsay; sisters, Nancy Brinkley and Barbara Roberson.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2024, at McLaughlin and Young Funeral Home with John Young officiating. Interment will be in Jacob Cleek Cemetery.
