Michel Rene Neutelings, 62, of Lewisburg, WV passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Lewis Gale, Salem, Virginia.
He was born February 28, 1956 in Kinshasa, Africa, the son of the late Joseph Neutelings and Georgette Dessambre Neutelings.
He was the Executive Chef at The Livery in Lewisburg, West Virginia. He was formerly employed as the Executive Chef at the Grille at the Homestead Resort for 17 years.
Michel was an artist and a great natural born musician. He loved the outdoors and spending time in the park painting pictures. He was a loving father, grandpa and friend.
He is survived by four children, Eddie Neutelings of Bacova, Virginia, Gabe Neutelings & wife Nicole of Durango, Colorado, Tiffany Buzzard & husband David of Hot Springs, Virginia and Gracie Burns & husband Zach of Hot Springs; five grandchildren, Ella & Clayton Neutelings, Delainey & Delilah Buzzard, and Everly Burns; his former wife, June French of Hot Springs; and a sister, Christiane Neutelings of Belgium.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Michel was a great guy. I loved when he came in my store. He always invited me when he played music. He will be missed.
