  1. My deepest sympathy to Vickie and family – keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Aside from Vickie and I being cousins, our two mothers were best friends during my childhood. Our Moms worked together at Genesco for many years, socialized on the weekends, and I can recall them sewing kitchen curtains for one another’s homes and having a lot of fun. I have many wonderful memories of Nola and her great sense of humor, good food, and welcoming spirit while I was growing up and in-and-out of her home as a little boy. Nola was a lovely lady and I am so blessed to have known her, and cherish the memories of how nurturing she was of me and my several siblings growing up.

  3. Dear Vickie:

This is your long-lost cousin Edward Campbell aka “Bugs”. I called my Brother Norris yesterday and we were recounting our youth. Your Mom did an Easter Egg Hunt when I was about 8 years old and I found the prize egg. That’s when you and Nola lived on the “mountain road” just up from Dab and Thelma. Funny what we recall, isn’t it.

I am sincerely sorry for your loss.
