Preston B. “Pat” Blake, 74, of Hot Springs, Virginia died Tuesday, October 09, 2012 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
He was born October 10, 1937 in Alleghany County, Virginia, the son of the late William T. Blake and Alice Johnson Blake.
He was a resident of the Springs Nursing Center where he enjoyed bingo and checkers. In younger days, he enjoyed working, especially cutting wood.
He is survived by a sister, Margie Blake Leavine and a brother, Cecil G. Blake & wife Drema all of Hot Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 4 sisters Miriam Blake, Mary B. Kimberlin, Berta B. Koerschner and Becky B. Hancock; and a brother, William T. Blake, Jr.
There will be no formal visitation or service. Friends may call anytime at the home of Margie Leavine.
