Raymond “Peewee” Alan Chaplin, 66, of Hot Springs, Virginia passed away Saturday, July 09, 2022, at his residence.

He was born April 13, 1956, in Clifton Forge, Virginia, the son of the late Gene Edward Chaplin, Sr. and Mary Edna Booze Chaplin.

He was employed with Omni Homestead Resort as a steward.

Peewee was a simple man that loved music of all kinds and enjoyed watching movies. He was a loving brother who liked food, trains, and spending time with his friends. He will be loved and missed forever.

He is survived by a brother, Gary Chaplin of Covington, Virginia; and a sister, Tammy Chaplin of Covington.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

  7. Pee Wee was a good friend, sweet person, & distant cousin. Enjoyed talking movies, music, Genealogy, and Botetourt History with him. Pee Wee was always willing to help out. He will be missed. Prayers to family, friends, and coworkers.
