RebaReba Catherine McDaniel Cammock, 78, of Hot Springs, Virginia died Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Augusta Health.

She was born June 11, 1941 in Bath County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Henry Milton McDaniel and Frances Catherine Hodge McDaniel.

Reba was formerly employed as a florist for many years at Jefferson Florist, as well as a cashier for Valley Supermarket.

She was a member of Lifeline Ministries, and a loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed cooking for the neighborhood, baking, and being outdoors in nature.

Reba is survived by her husband, Herbert George Cammock, Sr. of Hot Springs; children, Rodney Darrell Chestnut and wife Mattie of Hot Springs, Richard Chestnut and wife Rita of Hot Springs, Ralph Chestnut and wife Patsy of Warm Springs, Rusty Chestnut and wife Andrea of Williamsville, Robbie Chestnut and wife Carrie of Hot Springs; step-son, Herbert Cammock, Jr. and wife Sandia of Hot Springs; step-daughter, Denise Cammock of Southfield, Michigan; 15 grandchildren;  sisters, Shirley Terry of Harrisonburg, VA, Carol Ward and husband J.W. of Ashville, North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 5 brothers, James, Roy, Edison, Lanier, and Joseph McDaniel.

A celebration of life will be held on June 6, 2020, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Lifeline Ministries with Pastor Zach Royer officiating.
