Reginia Rose (Grimm) Stinespring, 71, of Staunton, Virginia, formerly of Millboro, Virginia, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Envoy Nursing Home in Staunton.

She was born July 2, 1939 in Bath County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Kenneth J. Stinespring and Violet McCune Stinespring.

Ms. Stinespring was a housewife. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church; she was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed socializing with her friends and listening to live music.

She is survived by six children, Judy Deel & significant other, Ronnie Morgan of Millboro, Donna Lilly of Staunton, Glenn “Tuck” Grimm & wife Angel of Millboro, Billy Grimm & wife Rhonda of Millboro, Hollis Grimm & wife Amanda of Glasgow, Virginia and Holly Grimm & her loving caregivers Betty & Cecil Jennings of Lynchburg, Virginia; three brothers, Sammy Stinespring of Millboro, Ira & wife Helen Stinespring of Charleston, West Virginia and Wiley Stinespring of Millboro; two sisters, Gloria Stinespring & significant other, Joe Hyler of Millboro and Jerry Campbell & husband Frankie of Hot Springs, Virginia; ten grandchildren, Ernie Deel & fiancé Laura Roberts, Johnny Deel, Junior Grimm, Maegan Grimm, Hunter Grimm, D.J. Grimm, McKenna Grimm, Daniel Grimm, Cody Grimm, & Emmalee Grimm; one great grandchild, Kayla Shanks; and a special roommate, Miss Cora Price; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a special friend & companion, Samuel June Kennedy, a sister, Yvonne Stinespring and a brother, David Stinespring.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home with Pastor John Green and Pastor Randy Smith officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Junior Grimm, Ernie Deel, Johnny Deel, Ernest Deel, Ronnie Morgan, Frankie Campbell and Melvin Campbell.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
