Sandra “Sandy” Louise Hise Bass, 53, of Hot Springs, Virginia passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, at her residence.

She was born November 2, 1972, in Bath County, Virginia, the daughter of Carolyn “Sis” Rose Baldwin Hise and the late George Edward Hise.

She was formerly employed as a massage therapist at the Omni Homestead Resort. Later she worked as a CNA at the Springs Nursing Center and then worked in private home care.

She was a member of Life Line Ministries Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed camping & fishing, planting flowers and gardening. She was a loving wife, daughter, and friend to all.

She is survived by her husband, Jessie Wayne Bass whom she married on September 3, 2016; special friends, Patricia Dean, Randy Smith, and Alan Smith; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will be conducted at a later date.
