Wendy Elaine Pritt, 52, of Hot Springs, Virginia passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at her parents’ home.
She was born January 29, 1970 in Bath County, Virginia, the daughter of Frank Meredith Pritt, Jr. and Gloria Lee Grimes Pritt.
Wendy was employed as a fiscal technician at Augusta Correctional Center.
She was a member of Lifeline Ministries, avid reader, loving mother and grandmother, enjoyed shopping and yard sales with her mother.
Wendy is survived by her daughter, Celeste Morales and husband Christian of Millboro; son, Gabriel Gutshall of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Willow and Amelia; brother, Frank Pritt III of Richmond; sister, Cynthia Frady of Millboro; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday March 8, 2022 at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Neff, Jr. officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with expenses.

I’m still in disbelief that Wendy is gone. My prayers go out to her family and friends for peace and comfort. We’ll all see her again one day and what a great day that will be! Until then, I will miss her so much.
