William “Will” Otero, 72, of 319 Hazel Street, Covington, Virginia, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 at his residence.

He was born May 31, 1938 in Puerto Rico, the son of the late Recardo Otero and Rosalia Rivera Otero.

Mr. Otero was employed with WalMart in Covington in the maintenance department. He was a man of the Catholic Faith. He loved to do carpentry & small jobs. He was a friend to all.

He is survived by his companion of 22 years, Priscilla Lemelin; a brother, Felix Otero; seven sisters, Antonia Tirado, Maria Ortiz, Ana Morales, Carmen Padilla, Blanca Lucia Ramos, Alexandrina Caban and Hilda Arce.

A funeral service will conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2011 at the residence on 319 Hazel Street.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Regional Hospice, 537 Main St., Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
