  3. Growing up it was always an exciting time when Uncle Paul, Aunt Lois and the kids came to visit us in Roanoke. We had a lot of good times together. Being 10 years older than Annette, I remember when she was born. My mother (Aunt Faye) always thought that Net was the prettiest baby she had ever seen. She WAS a beautiful baby who grew up to be a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin and friend. Annette, our lives were better for having shared them with you.
My condolences to all of the family. Cousin Rhonda

  13. Annette was always a pleasure to run into. Her sweet smile, kind words and pleasant nature always left me feeling like she genuinely enjoyed the encounter, no matter how brief. I was so privileged to know her when her faith was young and adulthood yet lay before her. Although the years passed rapidly and I didn’t get to see her as often, I always remembered her as a genuine friend, a compassionate person just like her precious mom and dad. When she passed the other night, drawing her final breath while laying her head on the breast of Nathan her son, she immediately drew her first breath in heaven. She’s there now awaiting us. We are not far from home.
