Tony Tulloh Wiseman, 89, of Hot Springs, Virginia passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at his childhood residence. 

     He was born on the 4th of July, 1931 in Highland County, Virginia, the son of the late Charles Dewey Wiseman and Zona Maude Tulloh Wiseman.

    Mr. Wiseman retired as a Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force. Upon retirement he continued working for the Air Force with Link Training Services as a flight simulation technician. After retirement from LTS he worked for the Homestead Resort as a part-time driver and worked part-time for the US Post Office as a mail carrier.

     He was a 1948 graduate of Valley High School, and a graduate of Morris-Harvey College in West Virginia. He was a member of Ashwood United Methodist Church and attended Eden United Method. He was life member of the Order of the Moose. He was loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather..

     He was married to the late Gisela Wiseman who preceded him in death on February 6, 2012.

     He is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Ann Wiseman of Masa, Arizona;  two grandchildren: Dana Sanchez & husband Tony of Chandler, Arizona and Rena Lynn Altizer of Phoenix, Arizona; eight great grandchildren; a step-daughter, Dagmar Saar of England; and two step grandchildren.

     In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by an infant brother; and a step-son Jens Rodiegar.

     A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home with Donald Lee Altizer, officiating and Pastor Andrew Baek, assisting. Interment will be in Warm Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Trevor Plecker, Isaac Altizer, Jimmy Adkins and Tony Sanchez.

     The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday morning at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home.

  2. My sympathies are with all. Tony was always a delight to have when he attended Ashwood United Methodist Church. I will certainly miss him when we return to inperson services.

  3. I am sorry to hear about Tony’s passing. I haven’t seen Tony for several years since we moved from Bath County. Tony’s father and my grandfather were brothers. Sending prayers to all of you.
